Alex Wyckoff Spence is a policy advocate, political activist, and author of the forthcoming Dragonslayer fantasy series. Alex grew up in sunny Manhattan Beach, California, where he picked up hobbies such as swimming and grassroots organizing. He graduated from the University of Oregon with degrees in psychology and political science in 2017, and more recently graduated from UC San Diego in 2021 as a Master of Public Policy specializing in peace/security and social inequality. Alex prefers writing in the fantasy and science fiction genres, where he aspires to center his Asian American heritage in unique, detailed settings.
